Firefighters Battle Hydrant Problems To Douse Allendale House Blaze

ALLENDALE, N.J. -- Firefighters battled hydrant problems during a house blaze Wednesday that displaced an Allendale family.

No injuries were reported after the three-alarm Carteret Road fire, which broke out around 11 a.m. and rekindled again during the operation.

The cause wasn't immediately determined.

Responders included colleagues from Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus (FAST team), Franklin Lakes, Midland Park, Mahwah, Ramsey and Wyckoff.
