A Midland Park resident injured sustained minor injuries in an overnight three-alarm fire that destroyed his two-story home. A firefighter also was treated before being released from the hospital.
The call from Erie Street came in just after 3:30 a.m. and was put down within an hour, emergency responders said.
Four people got out, including a resident who was later cleared at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
Basement propane tanks apparently fueled the flames, although an immediate cause hadn’t been announced.
