It's anticipated that the work will take two days and stems from a countywide inspection, which determined that a culvert under the bridge is significantly deteriorated. The steel plate is a temporary measure and will allow single-lane traffic only.
Cars will be permitted across but trucks and buses will be prohibited due to weight limitations. The work will require permitting from the state Department of Environmental Protection and a complete replacement will be necessary.
