SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Students at Saddle River Day School challenged their peers current perceptions and sparked new debate with each other thanks to a recent TEDx Youth Seminar.
Saddle River Day School junior Matt Rosen was joined by nine other students who led discussions on various topics. Rosen discussed “A New Vision for Foreign Policy.”
Other topics included: "The Financial Morality Gap," "Why we Idolize Superheroes" and "The Strange Story of Accidental Inventions."
According to Rosen, disagreements are key to promoting change and progress.
“I’ve been called idealist, ” Rosen said. “I think that sitting with someone who disagrees is much more important than preaching to the choir. That’s how true progress is made.”
