NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College will sponsor a coding competition to help increase exposure for tech-savvy students with local technology companies.
The event will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at NCC’s West Campus, rooms W138 and W140, 188 Richards Ave.
The Connecticut Skills Challenge provides students with the opportunity to test their coding skills against others across the state and get noticed.
Participating students are included in an online directory that technology companies can access as they search for local talent.
Similar coding competitions will be held later this month at Eastern Connecticut State University, Sacred Heart University, University of Bridgeport and Western Connecticut State University.
NCC's coding competition is administered by the Connecticut Technology Council.
