Legal costs for the district have topped $80,000 in the fight to keep the lights, which three families say illuminate their Cedar Drive homes, reports northjersey.com.

The suit is seeking a court order for the lights to be taken down and also names the Allendale Board of Adjustment and the Borough of Allendale, reports northjersey.com.
