Midland Park High School Award Celebrates College-Bound Students

MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- January is the fifth month of school and the time when college acceptance notifications begin to arrive. 

Midland Park High School celebrates college-bound students who have earned nearly $700,000 in scholarship money so far this year.

Midland Park High School noted that 18 students out of more than 50 that applied have been accepted to 31 colleges and universities and earned a total of $683,000 in merit scholarships based on student achievement.

According to the schools, the numbers are expected to increase in time for national College Decision Day May 1, saidschool superintendent, Marie Cirasella.
