Bergen County High Schools Among Nation's Best In Latest Newsweek Rankings

Several Bergen and Passaic County high schools were ranked among the best in the nation, according to Newsweek in a story released this week.

Newsweek released its rankings of the nation's Top 500 high schools.

Bergen County Academies was the top-rated school in Bergen, coming in 11th overall.

BCA boasted a graduation rate of 100% with 100% of its graduates bound for college. The survey also said 92.9% of students were ready for college upon graduation.

Bergen County Tech (No. 41), and Glen Rock High School (No. 137) were the other two area schools to crack the top 200.

Other area schools to make the list included:

Wayne Hills (No. 222)

Northern Valley/Old Tappan (No. 227)

Northern Valley/Demarest (No. 234)

Mahwah High School (No. 366)

Wayne Valley (No. 417)

Cresskill High School (No. 425)
