Without volunteers, departments like Upper Saddle River's couldn't exist.

All training is provided and you'll make bonds with people that will last a lifetime.

The Upper Saddle River Volunteer Fire Department has approximately 50 volunteer members responding to about 350 calls for service annually. Service is provided 24 hour hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides 24 hour emergency medical services, 365 days a year. 

The Ambulance Corps has paid EMTs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Volunteers serve weekends and holidays in addition to Monday through Friday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. 

Each volunteer crew serves one night per week and rotates through weekend shifts to man the two ambulances owned by the corps.
