Upper Saddle River Fire Department Had Carbon Monoxide False Alarm

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Upper Saddle River Fire Department was was dispatched to a home on Schindler Court in the wee hours of Thursday, April 7, for a carbon monoxide alarm.

The USRFD was on-scene bright-and-early for a carbon-monoxide-related call.

The home's resident made the call around 4 a.m., when a carbon-monoxide detector went off. Chief Vierheilig, Asst. Chief Rauch and Engine 1232 responded.

Crews checked the home with a meter and didn't get readings.
