Blake G. Tannen was being held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Allendale police got the 911 call at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

"Allendale Police determined that the cellular telephone from which the call originated was located at 5 Baldwin Road [in Saddle River]," Molinelli said. "The Allendale Police notified the Saddle River Police Department and officers responded to the address."

Responding officers stopped Tannen's car as he pulled away and found the woman in the front passener seat, the prosecutor said.

She "was visibly upset and advised the officers that she was sexually assaulted by [Tannen]," he said.

Both were taken to police headquarters and Molinelli's Special Victims Unit was notified.

Investigators "did not know each other previously and had met the night [before]," Molinelli said.

A Dec. 1 arraignment was set.
