HO-HO-KUS -- William A. Sumner, of Ho-Ho-Kus, died on Dec. 23. He was 79.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood, where he was a member of Eucharistic Adoration, and a daily communicant. For years he was active in Ridgewood Junior Football, and the Ridgewood Lacrosse programs.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Megan Olson and husband Brad, Timothy Sumner and wife Annie, Beth Strange and husband Jeff; and eight grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, 2-5 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood. Funeral mass will be Saturday, Dec. 31, 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Ridgewood, with interment to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
