ALLENDALE, N.J. — Stephen M. Rose, of Allendale, died Aug. 8. He was 61.
He was born Nov. 2, 1954, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved with his family to Ridgewood in the 1960s. He graduated from Ridgewood High School and worked in the automotive field until becoming part owner of The Sharp Shop in Midland Park, where he worked for more than 25 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed NASCAR, golf, puzzles and bird watching, but primarily time spent with family.
He leaves his wife Beverly,;daughters, Jodi and Heidi; and grandchildren, Cole, Zoey and Mady Kunish.
Visiting hours and service will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood. Burial will be private.
