MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- Richard "Dick" Stark -- a resident of Midland Park, formerly of Waldwick -- died on Thursday, April 7. He was 85.
Stark was a proud Korean War veteran. He was a truck driver for ATI Trucking. "His greatest love was his wife, his family, and his second home, Spain," according to information from the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Stark; children Richard Stark II and his wife Linda, and Marion Giordano and her husband Thomas; grandchildren Christina Burns and her husband Patrick, Richard Stark III and his wife Heather, and Thomas Jr. and Ali Giordano; great-grandchildren Harper and Connor Burns; sister and brother-in-law Marie and Wayne Barth; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E Ridgewood Ave., in Ridgewood. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, directly at St. Luke's Church, in Ho-Ho-Kus. Cremation will be private.
