SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Joseph T. Buckley, of Saddle River, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20. He was 62.
Raised in the Bronx, Buckley attended St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School, where he graduated as his class valedictorian. He earned his bachelor's degree from NYU, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and his MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.
He worked on Wall Street for over 35 years as an equity research analyst, primarily covering the restaurant industry for 22 years at Bear Stearns and followed by eight years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Buckley is survived by his wife, Maureen Loughran; children David, Claire and Nancy; and grandson Francis Joseph. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Edith (Carroll) Buckley.
The wake will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Church of the Presentation, in Upper Saddle River. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Feeney Funeral Home, in Ridgewood, is assisting with arrangements.
