WALDWICK, N.J. -- Joan Connolly, of Waldwick, died on Tuesday, Jan. 24. She was 82.
Connolly worked for Troll Book Club in Mahwah for 25 years, becoming the first female supervisor in the company.
"She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, shopping and had a great compassion for animals," information from the funeral home noted. "Joan especially loved being with her growing family. Her strong spirit has been an example to all who knew her."
Connolly is survived by her daughters, Linda and Kim; sons-in-law Richard and Roger; grandchildren Roger, Tracy, Nicole, Alyson, Richy and Elissa; and great-grandchildren Alex and Avery.
A memorial service was held Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., in Rutherford.
