WALDWICK, N.J. -- Jeffrey A. Poppe, of Waldwick, died Friday, Aug 5. He was 55.
Born in Newark, he worked at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for almost five years. Prior to that, he was employed by Poppe Contracting in Franklin Lakes for nearly 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Poppe, daughters, Alexandra Grace and Taylor Nicole; father, Walter H. Poppe; mother-in-law, Grace Kelly; brothers and sister-in-laws, Debra Poppe and Don Van Lenten, Glen and Gina Poppe, John and Allison Poppe and Patricia Kelly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
