MIDLAND PARK, N.J. – Janet Knapp, a resident of Midland Park, died Thursday, May 19. She was 69.
Born in Suffern N.Y., she was a longtime resident of Midland Park. She was a grocery clerk for A&P Food stores in Midland Park for many years. She also was an active member of Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Barbara) Knapp of Pointciana, Fla.; sisters, Anne (Karl) Kopenski, of Naples, Fla., Audrey (Al) Lapinski of Franklin Lakes, N.J. and Dorothy (Michael) Mateychick of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Adrianna; and her two brothers, Harry and Ken.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the Faith Reformed Church, 95 Prospect St., Midland Park. Interment will follow in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn.
