SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Grace T. Cavalier, a resident of Saddle River, died on Tuesday. She was 93.
She was born to Edward and Agnes (Boettcher) Mooney.
Cavalier was the secretary for the Upper Saddle River Senior Fellowship group for eight years.
Prior to that, she worked as chief operator for the New York Telephone Company, followed by secretarial work for her husband in his real estate and insurance brokerage and home construction firm.
Her husband of 45 years, Horatio, died in 1991.
She is survived by her son, Frank; two grandchildren, Jeffrey of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Vincent of Stockholm, Sweden; her daughter-in-law, Helena, two great-grandsons, Antoni and Lucas, and two brothers, Richard of Dumont, N.J. and James of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Edward.
Visiting hours are Thursday at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home at 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church at 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
