ALLENDALE, N.J. -- Gloria (Grasso) LaBollita -- an Allendale resident, formerly of Dumont -- died on Wednesday, Feb. 1. She was 85.
LaBollita was born in New York City to Mary (Lombardi) and Anthony Grasso. "She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother," the funeral home noted.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Simkins and her husband Christopher; grandchildren Jason and Devin Shanley, Kurt, Stephanie and Michael Simpkins, Alina, Michael and Cecelia LaBollita; and great-grandchildren Tara, Arden, Devin, Charlotte and Lillian Shanley.
LaBollita was preceded by her husband, Albert LaBollita; son Robert LaBollita; and daughter Debbie Shanley.
A funeral mass will be offered at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at St. Mary's Church, in Dumont. Cremation will be private. Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, in Dumont, is assisting with arrangements.
