ALLENDALE, N.J. -- Charles Ewan Andrews, of Allendale, died on Feb. 15. He was 82.
Andrews was born on June 30, 1934 to the late Charles Lippincott Andrews and Mary Thomas Ewan of Moorestown. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English, and served as an officer in the US Army for 3 years, stationed in Germany. Upon returning to the US, he worked in the publishing industry in New York for Appleton-Century-Crofts and later, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). He had a passion for classical music and photography.
He is survived by Dolores and their two sons, Eric (wife Angela Rumi) and Craig. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Kirsten and Nicole.
A memorial service followed by refreshments will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Ridgewood on April 12, at 2 p.m.
