Bergen Lacrosse Club Athlete Dead In Apparent Suicide

A high school lacrosse player who played for NJ Riot with locations across Bergen County was found dead Sunday morning in an apparent suicide Sunday, according to LaxLessons.com.

Peter "Pierce" Jarck, a junior at Rumson-Fair Haven High School, died early Sunday morning at his family's home in Rumson, located in Monmouth County. He was 16.

Jarck was one of the top newcomers on Rumson-Fair Haven's varsity team last spring as a sophomore and played travel lacrosse for New Jersey Riot, which practiced mainly in Waldwick.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Jarck played defense and longstick midfield.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
