WALDWICK, N.J. -- Anthony "Tony" Joseph Jannelli Jr, 65, of Waldwick, died Saturday, July 2 at home surrounded by his family.
Jannelli was born March 15, 1951 in Montclair.
He was predeceased by his parents Anthony J. Jannelli Sr. and Celeste Jannelli.
He is survived by his wife, Britt; sons Anthony Joseph Jannelli III and Joseph Jeffrey Jannelli, both of Waldwick; brother Charles Jannelli of Redlands, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and his special buddy, River.
He was an active parishioner of Zion Lutheran Church in Saddle River. He was in charge of the church’s Biker Blessing for many years to raise money for its youth conferences. He was the owner and proprietor of Jannelli Home Improvements in Waldwick for more than 25 years.
Jannelli was very active in the Waldwick community. As an avid sports lover, he was both a manager and a supporter of Little League Baseball. He also supported both Waldwick football and Waldwick wrestling.
The family will be receiving friends from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Feeney’s Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 96 E. Allendale Road, Upper Saddle River.
