WALDWICK, N.Y. -- Alfredo Gagliano, of Waldwick, died on Dec. 28. He was 97.
He was born March 22, 1919. He worked at Benjamin Franklin Middle School in Ridgewood for many years. A parishioner of St. Luke’s RC Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, Alfredo enjoyed gardening, making wine, cooking, and especially family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Nicola and wife Elda of Italy; Frank and wife Rose Gagliano and Carmelina and husband Frank Magurno; grandchildren, Pino, Massimo, Jennifer, Nadia, Nicholas, Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Nicola and Sophia.
He is predeceased by his wife, Elvira.
Funeral Mass was Dec. 31, at St. Luke’s, with entombment in the Garden of Memories, Washington Township. Arrangements through Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood.
