Waldwick Settles With Contractor Regarding Sewer Line Break For $50K

WALDWICK, N.J. -- The borough of Waldwick has reached a settlement with a cable contractor that broke a sewer line in 2014, according to a report in northjersey.com.

Todd Cable Construction, based in Newport, N.Y., agreed to the settlement whereby the borough will receive $50,000 in damages, northjersey.com reported.

The break occurred near the Waldwick train station while the contractor was installing fiber optic cables for the New York Stock Exchange, according to northjersey.com.
