WALDWICK, N.J. — The Waldwick Post Office may soon be renamed in honor of fallen Marine Staff Sgt. Joseph D’Augustine, nj.com reports .
The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on legislation to rename the post office at 1 Walter Hammond place after the Waldwick native who was killed in action in March 2012, the report said.
The 2001 Waldwick High School graduate was on his fourth tour of duty overseas when he was killed diffusing an explosive device in Helmand province of Afghanistan.
