HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Possibly the only photo of the now dried-up Ho-Ho-Kus Sylvan Lake was discovered in Brooklyn, according to northjersey.com.
Resident Michael Reade found in an internet search that Brooklyn Museum had photos of a 'Ho-Ho-Kus Pond' and said no one has seen a picture of the lake in over 140 years, according to northjersey.com.
Sylvan Lake was once a resort and tourist destination, and one of the first Erie Railroad stops, says northjersey.com.
The area is now Zabriskie Park, which is currently undergoing a facelift, according to northjersey.com.
