MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- The Midland Park Office of Emergency Management has released an update about the Woodside Avenue sewer failure: some pipe has been replaced and road closures will continue.
As of Monday, March 7, at 6 p.m., the OEM office announced that construction crews have completed 850 feet of replacement pipe with the connection to Glen Avenue. Woodside Avenue will remain closed due to work during the day, as PSE&G removes construction equipment and rough paving is done.
Glen Ave will be open to through traffic but susceptible to intermittent road closures until the end of the week. Final roadway and property restoration on Woodside Avenue are in the planning stages by Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority and will be announced in the near future.
Per the OEM, the contractors would like to thank Midland Park residents for their patience.
