They will be offering assistance and outreach to rural villages that don’t have access to proper medical care. Island Impact also sponsors surgical teams to provide vision-saving surgeries, breast cancer screenings, biopsies, as well as radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Island Impact Ministries is a U.S. registered, 501(c) nonprofit organization established in 2003 and is dedicated to providing much-needed medical, educational, spiritual and construction assistance to the people of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

These goals are accomplished through its local medical clinics, child sponsorship schools, and hosting visiting teams. For more information, visit www.islandimpact.net.

Friends and members of Archer are encouraged to support Anna and Mike’s mission by making an offering that can be placed in the special offering basket, which can be found in the narthex, or by sending a check to the church office made out to “Archer UMC” with “Island Impact” in the memo line.
