3 Ridgewood Cars Wrecked By Falling Oak Tree

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Three vehicles parked in the driveway of a single-family home in Ridgewood were destroyed Thursday night, when a massive oak tree fell on them.

No injuries were reported, and the tree narrowly missed hitting the nearby home, Boyd A. Loving reports.

Village police and fire departments responded to the scene, and absorbent material was spread under the vehicles to contain leaking motor oil.
