Waldwick Lions Honored After 60 Years Of Service

WALDWICK, N.J. — The Waldwick Lions Club was formally recognized recently for its 60 years of service to the community, according to northjersey.com.

The club, which was honored by Mayor Thomas Giordano and the borough council during a Sept. 22 meeting, was founded in 1955 and has been helping local businesses, families and schools ever since, according to the story.

The club holds a number of annual fundraisers, donating the proceeds to such charitable causes as juvenile diabetes research and the Center for Food Action, according to the report.
