Weighing in at 11 pounds and 3 ounces, Austin Joseph "AJ" Hecht, 22 inches long, was born on May 9 at Hackensack University Medical Center (five days late) to Jamie Hecht and her husband, Joe Hecht.

Nurses dubbed the new mom "Superwoman" during her stay.

"I must've had six nurses helping me push because he was so big," said Jamie, currently of Butler.

"When his head popped out I said, 'Put me down for a C-section.'"

At their last growth scan in March, doctors said AJ weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces. So his size came as a shock to both of the parents when he was born.

"For giving birth to an 11-pound child, he's perfectly healthy and he's the best little boy and such a happy boy at that," Jamie said. "Joe and I are so happy and couldn't be more in love with him.

"He definitely completes us."
