WALDWICK, N.J. -- A daffodil garden was planted in Waldwick and will begin to bloom in a few weeks. Kerry's Garden is located in Waldwick's Borough Park. The garden is at the top of the bike path.
Visitors can park in the first lot when entering from Pennington Avenue and the garden is on the left, with the Gazebo on the right. There are approximately 1,300 bulbs in the garden.
The garden was inspired by Waldwick resident, Kerry Sauner, who lost her battle to a rare sarcoma in 2015. It was funded by donations to purchase bags of daffodil bulbs in honor of Kerry, as well as other's family, friends and pets' memory.
Local volunteers helped with the layout and planting of the garden last fall and now the community can enjoy the bloom.
Waldwick Borough Park is located at 98 Pine St.
