Waldwick Woman Donates Proceeds From Holiday Boutique To Therapy Center

WALDWICK, N.J. — A Waldwick woman will be donating proceeds from her makeup sales from the Dec. 3 Holiday Craft and Vendor Boutique in Ridgewood to the Children's Therapy Center in Fair Lawn.

Kristen Castro, a saleswoman for Younique, is augmenting the vendors' tabling fees so that children like her toddler with cerebral palsy can get the help they need.

"Giving up a day of commission is the least I can do," said Castro, a mother of three (SEE: Waldwick Moms Find Success, Support In Virtual Makeup Sales).

The 7 p.m. holiday bazaar will feature a Reiki specialist, Touchstone Crystal Jewelry, Gold Canyon Candles and more. The event will be held at the Elks Lodge on N. Maple Avenue.

"My purpose is to just give this night as much attention that it deserves," Castro said.She promotes her makeup mostly through her website and Facebook.
