MIDLAND PARK, N.J. — Learn about the history of animation at the Midland Park Memorial Library Sept. 22 with an hour-long presentation by borough resident Andrew Birchenough and filmmaker Jack Gattanella.

The presentation will start with the 1926 silent film "Adventures of Prince Achmed" and travel through nine decades of animation, including "Adventures of Tintin," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Fantastic Planet,” “Watership Down,” "American Pop,” and “Toy Story,” northjersey.com reports .

The presentation begins at 7 p.m.Copies of the movies to be discussed are available at the circulation desk at the library, 250 Godwin Ave.
