Proceeds will benefit the Teen Empowerment and Enrichment Network (TEEN) program at Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children n Paterson.

Oasis is dedicated to feeding and clothing needy women and children and offering them educational resources and skills, opening the door to meaningful jobs and breaking the poverty cycle.

TEEN provides a space for 30 girls, ages 13-18, in Paterson to become strong, independent, and thoughtful women.

The after-school activities at Oasis address six areas: academic goal setting and achievement; physical fitness/healthy living; life skills; art; leadership/community service; and college and career planning.

In addition to Oasis, Jersey Women Strong will make charitable donations to funds set up by several local families who have been touched by cancer and other illnesses.

The Jersey Women Strong outreach program has grown over the years and the shopping event, which originally started in someone’s backyard four years ago, has become a large focus.
