Drink Up Information About Local Water At Ridgewood Forum

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Have questions about drought, conservation or water contamination? A free public forum on Thursday evening, Jan. 26, will try to provide answers.

The Ridgewood League of Women Voters, in conjunction with Ridgewood Water, will be hosting this forum, on issues relating to local water resources.

Ridgewood Water Business Manager Dave Scheibner and Director Richard Calbi will address how drought affects supply and demand, Ridgewood Water's contaminant controls and what customers can do to conserve. A Q&A session will follow.

The forum will run from 7:30-9 p.m. in the Senior Center at Village Hall, 131 N. Maple Ave., on the first floor.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed, active participation in government -- and it encourages folks 16 and older to join. Email ridgewoodlwv@gmail.com for more information.
