The garden will be at the top of the bike path in Waldwick’s Borough Park, on either side of the cupola from the town’s old municipal building. Daffodils were chosen because they are perennial and deer resistant. Other perennial grasses and plants will be included in the garden area.

Initial money for the garden was raised by OmPossibilities Yoga students and Sauner's friends. Additional donations are being sought. A bag of daffodil bulbs can be purchased for $20, either in honor of Sauner or as a memorial for a family member, friend or pet.

All bulbs will be planted by volunteers. Anyone who wants to volunteer or donate should contact Karen Livanos-Centauro at kerrysgarden@aol.com.

To purchase bulbs, make checks out to East Coast Landscaping, c/o 19 Longview Drive, Waldwick NJ 07463. Orders also can be dropped off at SERVPRO, 151 Crescent Ave., Waldwick. Include your name, e-mail, phone and the name of the person or pet to be memorialized.

Bulbs are scheduled to be planted Saturday, Nov. 7, with a rain date of Nov. 14.
