ALLENDALE, N.J. -- The Bergen/Passaic Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey will be hosting a guided walk in the Celery Farm, in Allendale, on Saturday, May 21.

Marsh Warden Mike Limatola will lead the walk. "This walk is for nature-lovers and birders of all levels," organizers note. "We'll look for butterflies, bugs, weird plants and our feathered friends."

Participants should wear long pants, sneakers and socks, and bring water and bug spray. Register for the walk by e-mailing mike.limatola@gmail.com.

Walkers should meet at 4 p.m. at the parking lot on Franklin Turnpike, on the right, about a quarter mile north of the traffic light at Franklin Turnpike and Allendale Road: you can tell your GPS 498 Franklin Turnpike.
