TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck Public Library Friday Morning Group will hold a St. Patrick’s Day program of Irish Dancing on Friday, March 18 as part of the Teaneck Public Library’s Isabelle & Sol Hermalyn Lecture Series.

Students of the McLoughlin School of Irish Dance will present a selection of traditional dances, including the reel, the jig and the hornpipe.

Patsy Early-McLoughlin, TCRG & ADCRG in New York, has been teaching dance for more than 40 years. She started her own school in 1968 and has since expanded to locations in Allendale, Bergenfield, Fair Lawn and Wanaque.

Karen Conway, TCRG, will introduce the dancers and provide the music. Students of the McLoughlin School have traveled extensively in the United States and Canada, winning many championship titles.

The public is welcome to attend this free program to be held in the library auditorium and to the coffee and socializing session that precedes it at 10 a.m. The program will be from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

For additional information about the program, call the library at (201) 837-4171.

The library is located at 840 Teaneck Road at the corner of Cedar Lane in Teaneck.
