WALDWICK, N.J. -- In an effort to open a recently restored train station, the Waldwick Community Alliance is hosting a beefsteak dinner Oct. 10.
Visitors will be treated to enough tender beef until they are ready to explode, off of little pieces of french bread surrounded by tasty tidbits of other goodies for $45 per person from 6:30 to 9:39 p.m.at the Guardian Angel Church, 320 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale.
The Waldwick Community Alliance has restored the Waldwick train station so it can be used to display train/railroad memorabilia as well as local history. They plan to be able to use the museum for the school children in the area to learn about the happenings of long ago.
Funds raised during the dinner will used to open the train station to the public.
