One River School of Art + Design will begin Allendale classes in January. The Allendale location will be under the direction of Agnes Zabawa.

The school has developed a new method for teaching art that is built on years of research and adapted for today’s times.

Classes are open to students of all ages and offer an opportunity to engage in contemporary art and play an integral role in today’s artistic movement.

"Our world class teachers and artists challenge our kids, teens and adults to explore new ways in studio art making and digital art making – helping to develop the next generation of great artists," said Ross, who founded the flagship Englewood location in 2012.

Each school also presents exhibitions from emerging artists as part of its commitment to be the voice of contemporary art in its communities.

Ross brings a deep background in creative education and the national franchise business model to One River School. “We believe that Allendale will be a very successful second New Jersey location for us,” said Ross. “I love the challenge of inspiring people through compelling art education while making it fun at the same time. This is my calling, my mission and the purpose of One River.”
